This week on Sex City—May 7, 2013

Dorianne talks to Shannon Salisbury who is working to create resources for educators of every grade from kindergarten to 12 to help teach kids about consent and try to avoid more of the horrific sexual assaults, particularly by and of young people, that we have seen far too much of in the news. She also chats with award-winning author and former sex worker Amber Dawn about her new book How Poetry Saved My Life: A Hustler's Memoir, which traces her path from survival street work to her present-day life as a writer, activist, and educator. Plus some shout outs to Glad Day Bookshop's IndieGoGo campaign and Sherwin Sullivan Tjia Orgasm Idol event.
